A Little Help Can Change Two Lives – Help Fernanda and Her Mother

Hello, my name is Fernanda. I am 30 years old and I live in Brazil.

I am sharing my story with hope in my heart and faith that there are still good people in this world.

My mother raised me on her own, and today we live and work together as seamstresses, making custom curtains. We have always worked hard to support ourselves and build a better future.

Unfortunately, life has brought us many difficult challenges.

We have experienced painful losses, health problems, medical treatments, and unexpected expenses. To pay for medical care and keep going, we had to rely on credit cards, loans, and borrowed money from other people.

Over time, these debts accumulated, and today we are facing a financial burden of more than R$100,000. Our biggest struggle is finding a way to pay the R$100,000 that we simply cannot manage to repay on our own.

I have also faced physical and emotional abuse, depression, and fibromyalgia. I lost my grandparents, who meant the world to me. I even had to sell a motorcycle that I spent five years saving for because our financial situation became so difficult.

Despite everything, my mother and I have not given up. We continue working every day, making curtains, sewing, and doing everything we can to support ourselves.

Why am I asking for just $10?

Because I believe that kindness grows when people come together.

Ten dollars may seem like a small amount to someone living in the United States. It might be the price of a simple meal or a small everyday expense.

But to us, that same $10 means something much bigger. It means hope. It means one step closer to paying our debts. It means the possibility of working without constant financial pressure and finally living peacefully.

Imagine if 100 people donated $10. That would be $1,000.

Imagine if 1,000 people did the same. That would be $10,000.

And imagine what we could accomplish if many more people decided to help with just a little.

We don't need one person to give us everything. We need many people to give a little. Together, we can make this happen.

Our goal is to raise R$100,000 (approximately US$18,500) to help us pay these debts and give us the chance to rebuild our lives.

I still believe there are good people in this world. People who care, people who understand that even a small act of kindness can change someone else's life.
